THE REMARKABLE JOINT VENTURE STARTED ITS ACTIVITIES
Mr. Adel Al Subaih, the former Kuwait Oil Minister, and Mr. Saad- AlHajri, Abraaj Energy CEO, attended the opening ceremony of 10,000 barrels Liquid Mud Plant West Kuwait, a result of long established joint venture between Abraaj Energy and NIC, to serve Kuwait Oil and Gas Drilling Activities.
NIC is an Industrial and Investment conglomerate publicly traded in Kuwait main stock exchange, that has managed to achieve and develop several projects, beside establishing a variety of successful companies in the same field.
Abraaj Energy and Scomi teams have collaborated closely to build the Mud Plant, expanding its local workforce in Kuwait to serve Mud Products and Mud Engineering Services to Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). Scomi was awarded the five years Contract by KOC that is worth US$150 million, considering it as a testimony of their products and services and the global experience they have in the drilling fluids product segment.
