ABRAAJ ENERGY SETS FOORPRINT IN QATAR
Abraaj Energy is now an approved investor for the Oil & Gas field Services in Qatar Petorleum as part of our growth plan. Qatar Petroleum has announced the implementation of the In-Country Value Policy in the Energy Sector starting January 2020 through “Tawteen”, the localization program for services and industries in Qatar’s energy sector.
Tawteen, led by Qatar Petroleum with the participation of all the companies in the Energy sector in Qatar, is the Supply Chain Localization Program for the Energy sector in Qatar. The Program consists of three key pillars and these are new investment opportunities, supplier development initiatives and a new In-Country Value (ICV) policy.
- Support the realization of Qatar National Vison 2030 by attracting companies engaged in knowledge and technology based businesses.
- Establish sustainable and competitive in-country suppliers to meet the requirements of Qatar’s Energy sector.
- Support the growth and diversification of Qatar’s economy.
