KOC has shortlisted Abraaj Energy/ NCS Multistage consortium to bid for a Pilot Trial for Multistage Frac System to complete Jurassic gas wells using its innovative system to provide a pin-point stimulation mechanism through a single trip CT fracturing or stimulation operations.

The new technology introduced by the partnership is expected to introduce up to 40% of cost savings related to KOC Coiled Tubing Operations. Abraaj and NCS have been discussing with Innovation and Technology teams in KOC. The Contract is expected to be awarded by Q3-2021.
